The Criminal Petition, under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/accused seeking to grant anticipatory bail in the event of her arrest in connection with Crime No.54 of 2021 on the file of Chilpur Police Station, Warangal District, registered for the offences under Sections 417 and 420 IPC
2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/accused, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State and perused the record, 3.
The prosecution case is that the petitioner/accused sold the land to an extent of Ac.3.38 gts, situated at outskirts of Nashkal Vilalge, to the de-facto complainant for Rs.25,00,000/- per each acre and he also paid some amount to the accused, but thereafter, the accused made another deal with another person with regard to the said land, thereby cheated him 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent of the alleged offences and she has been falsely implicated in the present crime. He would further submit that the de-facto complainant is due and liable to pay an amount of Rs.20 lakhs to the petitioner. He also submits that the petitioner is not having any criminal antecedents prior to the alleged occurrence and she is a law abidinLcitizen and ready to abide by any condition that may be imposed in the event of her enlargement on anticipatory bail.
