THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.32283 of 2017 ORDER:

Heard Mr Srinivas Ambati, counsel for petitioner and Assistant Government Pleader (Home) for respondents. The Assistant Government Pleader basing on written instructions dated 22.09.2017 submits that the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Srikakulam vide proceedings in C.No.260/SDPO-S/Refer/2017 dated 21.07.2017 permitted the investigating officer to refer the complaint as civil in nature. He further states that the procedure will be followed and copy of final report will be served on the complainant/petitioner as well.

The statement is placed on record and accepted. The petitioner as and when the final report is served, is given liberty to work out remedies in accordance with law. Writ Petition is dismissed with the above observation. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
