Praveen Kumar) The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the detenue, by name Manupati Israil, and be released from custody.

On 19.03.2018, the Advocate General took time to get instructions.

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of the Court that said Manupati Israil is an accused in Crime No.101 of 2017 of Yedapalli Police Station and in pursuant of the same, he was arrested and remanded to judicial custody. It is further stated that he is now lodged in Sub-Jail, Narsaraopeta.

Having regard to the above, we see no grounds to accept the request of the petitioner.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
