HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.1400 OF 2017 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed alleging non-implementation of the order in W.P.M.P.Nos.26823 and 26824 of 2016 in W.P.No.21827 of 2016, dated 05.07.2016, whereunder this Court directed the respondents 4 and 5 to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 27.06.2016 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Learned counsel for the respondents produced before this Court a copy of the proceedings dated 04.07.2017 rejecting the representation, but the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the representation was not at all considered and it is merely stated that the representation was rejected.

Since the main writ petition is pending, this Court is not inclined to continue the present proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act. It is open to the petitioners to agitate their rights in the pending writ petition. The contempt case is accordingly closed.
