THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.42123 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioner states that she made an application, dated 01.09.2015, under Form VI-A of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for short, 'the Act') and the Rules framed thereunder for grant of pattadar pass book and title deeds with respect to the agricultural lands admeasuring Acs.3.79 cents and Ac.1.70 cents in Survey Nos.207/1 and 207/3 respectively situated at Annasamudram Revenue Village, Tripuranthakam Mandal, Prakasam District, and also paid the requisite fee in accordance with the Rules. Complaining inaction on the part of the Tahsildar, Tripuranthakam Mandal, Prakasam District, the 3rd respondent, the present Writ Petition is filed.

It is evident that the proceedings under Form VI-A of the Act are required to be considered in a time span of 45 days. Considering the fact that the statutory application of the petitioner filed under Form VI-A of the Act and the Rules framed thereunder is pending since 01.09.2015, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the said application and pass appropriate orders, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
