HCJ&AAR,J C.C.No.681 of 2019 ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Sri Raghvendra Singh Chauhan) The present contempt petition has been filed, inter alia, on the ground that the direction issued by a learned Coordinate Bench on 01.11.2018, in W.A.No.1454 of 2018, has not been complied with. By the said order, the learned Coordinate Bench had directed the District Collector and District Magistrate, Hyderabad, to issue notice to the respondent Nos.1 and 2 therein and to pass the necessary orders. Ms. Vani Reddy, the learned counsel for the alleged contemnor, submits that, in fact, the said order has been complied with by the alleged contemnor by order dated 08.11.2019.
Mr. Khaza Moizuddin, the learned counsel appearing for the complainant, submits that although the said order may have been complied with, the charge is yet to be handed over to the complainant. Ms. Vani Reddy, the learned counsel for the alleged contemnor, seeks two weeks time from today to handover the charge. The undertaking given by the learned counsel for the alleged contemnor is recorded. In case, the said undertaking is not fulfilled by the alleged contemnor, the complainant shall be free to have this contempt petition revived.
The contempt petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
