HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.8767 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A2 and A3 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.957 of 2009 on the file of I Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate at Kothagudem, Khammam District, registered for the offences under Sections 7(1) and 2 (1a) (m) of Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the case status of the lower court and submitted that the case has been disposed of on 14.12.2017 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.957 of 2009 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
