ORDER:

Petitioner retired as Traffic Inspector on 31.05.2006 from the respondent corporation and under his detailed representation 15.04.2013 to the third respondent with a copy marked to the second respondent, petitioner sought release of unpaid salary for the period from 17.11.2005 to 31.05.2006 apart from leave encashment, differential amount of gratuity etc. On the ground that the said representation is not considered in spite of lapse of almost two years, the present writ petition is filed. Petitioner has also given a legal notice dated 19.06.2014 but no action is taken.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. N. Vasudeva Reddy, learned standing counsel for the respondents.

3. In view of the fact that the petitioner has retired from employment and his claim for salary, leave encashment etc. still remains unsatisfied, it is imperative that respondents 2 and 3 verify the claim of the petitioner with reference to the records and take appropriate decision in the matter and release the amount, which is entitled to be released to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, while considering the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, preferably, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
