This writ petition is filed seeking Mandamus declaring inaction of the respondents in considering the representation dated 29.06.2016 submitted by the petitioners for grant of permission for offering prayers (Namaz) during Ramzan festival on 06.07.2016 or 07.07.2016 in the Government land admeasuring 4000 square yards in Sy.No.199, situated at Peerzadiguda Village, Ghatkesar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, as arbitrary and illegal.
2. Heard learned counsel for petitioners.
3. When the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the respondents submits that since Ramzan festival is already over, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
4. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.
5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
