Respondent Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed herein, the High Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of respondent in amending Rules and Regulations in respect of admission to Ph.D. Programs subsequent to notification dated 27.02.2013 which was expired by laps of that particular year of admission as illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory, ultra vires, violative of principles of natural justice and violative of articles 14, 15 and consequently quash the notification dated 27.02.2013 by declaring nullity of the same alternatively declare the amendment made to Rules of Ph.D Admission dated 05.05.2015 as nonest in the eye of law.

The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Sri S.

Learned Standing Counsel seeks time to file counter affidavit. Post after two weeks.

In the meanwhile, the respondent shall not announce the results of Ph.D admissions in respect of English and Public Administration faculty.
