HONOURABLE SRI J USTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No. 46377 of 2016 ORDER:

The petitioner is aggrieved by the seizure of car bearing registration No.TS 06 EA 0645. The said vehicle was seized on the allegation of carrying white jaggery without valid permission. Learned Counsel for the petitioner does not press for quashing of the crime registered against the petitioner in COR No.189 of 2016 on the file of the Station House Officer, Police Station, Kalwakurthy. However, she seeks disposal of the Writ Petition with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner concerned to consider the application of the petitioner for release of the vehicle. Accordingly the Writ Petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to file an application before the jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner for release of the vehicle. As and when such application is filed, the Deputy Commissioner concerned shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
