THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No. 3366 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short, 'Cr.P.C.') by the petitioner-accused No. 1 for grant of pre-arrest bail in Crime No. 594 of 2017 of Women Police Station, DD, Hyderabad City, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of D.P. Act.

2.

After arguing the case for awhile, learned counsel for the petitioner has requested this Court to direct the police concerned to follow the procedure laid down by the Apex Court in "Rajesh Sharma Vs. State of U.P.1". 3.

Acceding to the request of learned counsel for the petitioners, without touching the merits, I find that it is a fit case to issue direction to the police concerned to follow the procedure laid down by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma (supra). Accordingly, the S.H.O., Women Police Station, DD, Hyderabad City, is directed to adhere to the guidelines issued in Rajesh Sharma (supra).

4.

With the above direction, the criminal petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this criminal petition shall stand closed in consequence.
