When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Public Prosecutor submits that the Criminal Petition has become infructuous as the cause in the criminal petition does not survive for further adjudication. The same is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioners.
In view of the above representations, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
