Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned Government Pleader for Revenue (AP) and Sri S.S.Varma, learned Standing Counsel for NHAI.

The grievance of the petitioners herein is that, despite submitting applications, dated 02.09.2016 and 24.10.2016, the respondent authorities have not determined the just compensation, under Section 3G(5) of the National Highways Act, 1956 (for brevity, 'the Act'), in respect of the lands, acquired, admeasuring 0-0318 Hectors in S.No.67/10B, 0-0081 Hectors in S.No.67/11B and 0-0040 Hectors in S.No.197/3B of Chollangi Village, Tallarevu Mandal, East Godavari District. Since the petitioners herein submitted applications, under Section 3G(5) of the Act, and as the same are pending before the respondent authorities, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to the respondent authorities to pass appropriate orders on the said applications, dated 02.09.2016 and 24.10.2016, said to have been submitted by the petitioners herein, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
