This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.37 of 2013 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Pithapuram, registered for the offences under Sections 498-A, 323 read with Section 34 IPC and under Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, against the petitioner/accused.

Learned Public Prosecutor for the second respondent, on instructions, reports that after trial, the petitioner/accused was acquitted in the aforesaid case and therefore, no further orders are required to be passed in this criminal petition. Copy of judgment is also filed.

Hence, the Criminal Petition is closed. Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
