Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Medical and Health and the learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent.

The petitioner states that he is a physically handicapped person belonging to backward class and he made a request to the Hon'ble Chief Minister to provide contract work for cleaning toilets in the Government Maternity Hospital, Tirupati, Chittoor District, and the office of the Hon'ble Chief Minister directed the 2nd respondent to take necessary action. It appears that thereafter the correspondence ensued between the 2nd respondent and the 5th respondent. However, the 5th respondent informed the 2nd respondent through his letter, dated 07-05-2015 that contract work for cleaning bathrooms and latrines at Government Maternity Hospital, Tirupati, is not necessary, as the sanitation work of the hospital is being maintained by the TTD, Tirupati. Hence, consideration of the request of the petitioner was not feasible and the petitioner was also informed accordingly. The petitioner has filed copy of the said letter as Ex.P-5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that if not the 3rd respondent, the 2nd respondent may accommodate the petitioner for the said work anywhere else.

Learned Government Pleader states that the request of the petitioner will be considered in terms of the directions already issued by the Chief Minister's Office.

In view of that, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the case of the petitioner for accommodating him in

any other suitable place/work as early as possible. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
