THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.17188 of 2013 ORDER:
The sum and substance of the case of the petitioner in the present writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is that the 1st respondent - Station House Officer, Devarakonda Police Station, Nalgonda District, based on the directions of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Nalgonda - 2nd respondent, started visiting the house of the petitioner and harassing him and his family members on the ground that the petitioner committed theft. It is the case of the petitioner herein that he is not involved in any theft cases.
This Court, while ordering rule nisi on 18-06-2013 passed an interim order in W.P.M.P.No.20852 of 2013 directing the respondents not to interfere with the personal life of the petitioner without there being a crime registered against him.
No counter-affidavit is filed denying the averments in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition. In the circumstances, this Court deems it apt to dispose of the writ petition by making the interim order as a final order in the writ petition.
For the aforesaid reasons, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents not to interfere with the personal life of the petitioner without there being a crime registered against the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs. The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
