HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI Writ Petition No.11327 of 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed questioning the alleged inaction of the learned District and Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar in passing orders in CrlAMP.No.517 of 2016 in Crl.A.No.70 of 2016.

The District Collector, Ranga Reddy District passed an order of confiscation under Section-6-A of the Essential Commodities Act, vide 6-A Case No.A7/1102/CS/2015, dated 23.9.2016.

As against the said order of confiscation, the petitioner filed Criminal Appeal No.70 of 2016 on the file of the Court of the District and Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar under Section-6-C of the Essential Commodities Act. Along with the said appeal, the petitioner also filed an application in Crl.A.M.P.No.517 of 2016 praying for suspension of the said order of confiscation and for release of the confiscated stock and two vehicles bearing registration Nos.AP 10 V 2359 and AP 28 Y 7246.

The grievance of the petitioner in the present Writ Petition is that no orders have been passed by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar on the said

AVSS, J WP.No.11327 of 2017 Dated:10.4.2017 application so far, though the same was filed as long back as on 24.11.2016.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (Telangana State) appearing for the respondents.

This Court is of the considered opinion that ends of justice would be served if the learned District and Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar is directed to pass appropriate orders in CrlAMP.No.517 of 2016 in Crl.A.No.70 of 2016 within a time frame.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the learned District and Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy District at L.B.Nagar to pass appropriate orders in CrlAMP.No.517 of 2016 in Crl.A.No.70 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, the Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, are disposed of as infructuous.
