HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR CRIMINAL PETITION No.8261 OF 2015 ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed by the de facto complainant under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking early disposal of C.C.No.864 of 2013 on the file of the VI Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Medchal. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State.
A perusal of the material placed before the Court would show that a case in Crime No.495 of 2012 of P.S.Jeedimetla was registered against accused Nos.1 to 3, for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 423, 506 and 120 (B) IPC. The police investigated into the matter and filed a charge sheet, which was taken on file as C.C.No.864 of 2013.
Having regard to the gravity of the offence and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and as the C.C. is of the year 2013, it would be appropriate if the said C.C. is disposed of as expeditiously as possible.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the learned VI Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Medchal, is advised to dispose of C.C.No.864 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (06) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
