HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT Writ Petition No.16300 of 2002 Order: (Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Petitioner, in the instant writ petition, seeks to challenge the provisions of Section 29(3) and (4) of the Andhra Pradesh Mutually Aided Cooperative Societies Act, 1995 (for short 'the Act'), on the ground that these provisions are unconstitutional and opposed to public policy.

Over and above this, the petitioner has not challenged any order as such in the petition. When we expressed that petition cannot be entertained for academic purpose, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that it may be disposed of with liberty to challenge the aforementioned provisions, in appropriate proceedings, if circumstances so demand.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of with liberty as prayed.

Consequently, pending miscellaneous applications shall also stand closed. No costs.
