HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.11420 of 2017 ORDER:

The case of the petitioner is that he is a retired Deputy Tahsildar and residing at Door No.4/128, Brahman Street, Vajrakaroor Village and Mandal, Anantapur District. In the said locality, several temples and mosque are located and the villagers used to visit the said temples and mosque to offer prayers. While so, recently respondent No.4 has established a belt shop and selling liquor in the said premises, thereby causing much inconvenience to the villagers, who visit the temples and mosque. The grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.4 is running the said belt shop without there being any valid licence and inspite of bringing the said fact to the notice of respondent Nos.2 and 3, they are not taking any action against respondent No.4. Hence, the present writ petition.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise. 3.

Having heard learned counsel for the respective parties, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to examine the grievance of the petitioner about running of belt shop without valid licence by respondent No.4

CKR,J W.P.No.11420 of 2017 and take appropriate action in accordance with law. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
