Learned counsel for the respondents state that nothing further survives in the writ appeal since the lease period got over long back. That seems to be the reason why nobody is coming forward to work out the appeal on merits. Having perused the prayer in the writ petition and the order passed by this Court on 18-09-2006, while admitting the appeal, on WAMP No. 1997 of 2006, the writ appeal is dismissed as rendered infructuous.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of. No order as to costs.
