HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT APPEAL Nos. 928 AND 886 OF 2008 JUDGMENT: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

These writ appeals are directed against the order dated 08-08-2008 passed in WPMP No. 22414 of 2008 in Writ Petition No. 17254 of 2008. The concluding paragraph of the impugned order reads thus:

"These are matters to be considered at the hearing of the Writ Petition. The payment made by the Corporation under the impugned order shall be subject to the result of the Writ Petition and the respondents will keep the amounts received, pursuant to the notice dated 28.07.2008, in a separate deposit in a Nationalized Bank. The proceeds to follow the result of the Writ Petition."

This Court while admitting the appeals on 28-08-2008 granted stay of the order dated 08-08-2008 during pendency of the appeals. The order of stay granted in August, 2008 operates till today. In view thereof, we find no reason to keep these appeals pending further and we dispose of the appeals by the following order: "The interim order dated 28-08-2008 passed in WAMP No.1840 of 2008 in Writ Appeal No. 886 of 2008 shall remain operative till the disposal of the writ petition. Hearing of the writ petition is expedited." Miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of. No order

as to costs.
