HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No. 2871 of 2019 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking early disposal of C.C.No.997 of 2017 on the file of the X Additional Chief Metropolitan magistrate, Secunderabad.

The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that though the cognizance was taken in the year 2017 till date no trial has been commenced and accused No.1 is going to retire from his services and wants to shift his family from Hyderabad to somewhere. If the trial is delayed, the accused may be absconded from the jurisdiction of the Court. Hence, the present Criminal Petition is filed seeking a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the C.C. at the earliest. 3.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the X Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Secunderabad, to dispose of C.C.No.997 of 2017 in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, without giving unnecessary adjournments.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
