The grievance of the petitioner is that the Tahsildar, Madhira Mandal, Khammam District, the third respondent, is not disposing of the application for carrying out mutation in his favour in relation to the land admeasuring Ac.0.27 guntas in Survey No.329/AA of Matur Revenue Village, Madhira Mandal, Khammam District.

Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner submitted an application in Form VI-A under the provisions of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, but despite the same, the Tahsildar concerned has not taken any action. It is not open to the recording authority to remain unmoved when an application is made in the prescribed format. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Madhira Mandal, Khammam District, to take appropriate action on the petitioner's application in Form VI-A expeditiously, and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
