THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.1005 OF 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.) to quash the proceedings in D.V.C.No.39 of 2013 (old D.V.C.No.43 of 2013) on the file of the Special Judicial Magistrate of First Class (Excise), at Karimnagar, arising out of petition filed under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.

Heard and perused the material available on record. Admittedly the case is arising out of matrimonial disputes. When the case is called, learned counsel for the petitioners is absent and there is no representation.

This Court, by order dated, 05.02.2014, passed an interim order dispensing with the presence of the petitioners before the Court below. Hence, the criminal petition is disposed of and the interim order dispensing with the presence of the petitioners before the Court below shall continue till the disposal of the D.V.C.No.43 of 2013.
