This Writ Petition is being disposed at the admission stage with the consent of both the parties.

This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: ".........Writ of Mandamus or any other writ order or direction to declare the action of the Respondents in not declaring the probation of the petitioner in the cadre of Motor Vehicle Inspector, though he completed two years of service satisfactorily as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and void being contrary to the Rule 16 of Telangana State and Sub-ordinate Service Rules and consequently direct the respondents to declare the probation of the petitioner in the cadre of Motor Vehicle Inspector as per Rule 16 of Telangana State and Sub0ordinate Service Rules by passing the orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 07.01.2019 with all consequential benefits....".

Heard Sri R.Rajasekhara Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Services-III. It is contended by the petitioner that he was appointed as Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector on 18.08.2010 and later he was promoted as Motor Vehicle Inspector vide R.No.2497/C/K/2015-VI, dated 06.01.2017. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has completed two years of service, the respondents are not declaring his probation in the cadre of Motor Vehicle Inspector. Therefore, he submitted a representation to the respondents on 07.01.2019 requesting the respondents to declare his probation in the cadre of Motor

Vehicle Inspector as per Rule 16 of Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the respondents are neither declaring the probation of the petitioner in the cadre of Motor Vehicle Inspector nor passing any orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner. Therefore, counsel for the petitioner contends that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner on 07.01.2019 in accordance with law.

This Court, having regard to the rival submissions made by the parties, is of the considered view that this Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 07.01.2019 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this of this order. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
