THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.8259 OF 2004 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not acting upon the application of the first petitioner's son for consideration of post of Conductor Grade II as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to consider the second petitioner for the post of Conductor Grade II in the first respondent Corporation.

At the time of arguments, learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the petitioners have accepted additional monetary benefits on 22.06.2011 in lieu of compassionate appointment. The learned counsel for the petitioners has also submitted the same. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for both parties, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
