THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.11093 OF 2019 ORDER:

Heard.

Petitioner was awarded contract to lay a road and an agreement was entered to that extent on 22.03.2016. Value of the contract was Rs.9,95,000/-. According to the petitioner, the entire work was completed and completion report was submitted on 22.09.2016. The Executive Engineer concerned entered the measurement in the M-Book and quality control report was also submitted. The grievance of the petitioner is that the amount payable in terms of the contract entered into by the respondentCorporation is not paid till date for no fault of him. With the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent-Corporation to pay the amounts payable to the petitioner on due verification of the M-Book entries made and report of the quality control. The amounts shall be paid to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
