Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Transport.

This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondent authorities in demanding higher life tax based on the ex-show room price of the vehicle. Petitioner states that he has purchased Range Rover Velar 3.01 motor car (Chassis No.

SALYA2AK2JA7078920617) from M/s. Sri Krishna Automotives Hyd Pvt ltd for an invoice of Rs. 56,16,666/- and after discounts invoice was raised at Rs.84,25,000/-.

In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, basic details as to what was the ex-show room/ invoice price; amount if any paid towards life tax and vehicle temporary registration particulars are not furnished. It is also to be noted that after discount, price of the vehicle cannot be raised.

As wrong statements are made and as no details are furnished, the writ petition is dismissed leaving it open to petitioner to institute a fresh writ petition furnishing all the necessary details.
