HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.11095 of 2019 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is that the Tahsildar, Zaheerabad Mandal, Sangareddy District, is not taking action to carry out mutation in the revenue records in his favour in relation to his share in the lands situated in Survey Nos.41, 42, 43, 44, 50, 93, 60 and 61 of Hoti (B) Village, Zaheerabad Mandal, Sangareddy District, despite his making an application in the prescribed format. Perusal of the record reflects that the petitioner submitted an application in Form VIA as required under Section 4 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 read with Rule-18 of the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989.

Having received such an application, it is not open to the Tahsildar, Zaheerabad Mandal, Sangareddy District, to remain somnolent.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Zaheerabad Mandal, Sangareddy District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's application submitted in Form VIA expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
