This Criminal Petition, under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/ accused, for grant of anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest in Crime No.194 of 2016 on the file of the Medikonduru Police Station, Guntur Urban, Guntur District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 120-B of I.P.C. and Sections 6, 7 and 19 of The Seeds Act, 1966.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/ accused, learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent-State and perused the record.

After arguing the subject matter of this Criminal Petition for some time, the learned counsel for the petitioner/ accused would submit that a direction may be given to the Investigating agency to follow the conditions stipulated in Section 41-A of Cr.P.C. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has conceded to the same.

In view of the above, the investigating agency is directed to scrupulously follow the conditions stipulated under Section 41A of Cr.P.C. and also the directions issued by the Apex Court in Ar n esh Ku m ar v. St at e of Bih ar an d an ot h er 1, before taking any coercive steps against the petitioner/ accused. 1 2014 (2) ALT (Crl.) 457 (SC)
