HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.9111 OF 2018 O R D E R :

The case of the petitioner is that he was removed from service as Home Guard on the ground of his involvement in a criminal case vide FIR No.236/2011, dated 06.12.2011 under Section 380 IPC of Palvancha Town P.S.; and that termination orders were passed on 09.07.2012. Subsequently, the petitioner was acquitted by the II Additional Magistrate of First Class, Kothagudem in CC.No.263/2011, dated 27.03.2014. Since he was terminated only on the ground of his involvement in a criminal case, after receiving the copy of the aforesaid acquittal orders, petitioner made several representations to the respondents requesting re-instatement into service, and among those representations the recent one is on 23.01.2018. As no orders are passed, present writ petition is filed.

Heard both sides.

Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the competent authority is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and take action in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
