The criminal petition is filed by the petitioner/accused under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in P.R.C.No.55 of 2007 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Gudur, SPSR Nellore District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 506 IPC and under Section 3(1)(x) of SC & ST (POA) Act, 1989. Pending the criminal petition, Crl.M.P.No.6607 of 2015 is filed by the de facto complainant-2nd respondent and petitioner with joint memo seeking permission to compound the criminal case stating that the matter is amicably settled between the parties outside the Court. Having heard the parties, permission is thereby accorded as the parties stated that they amicably settled the matter to purchase peace. Accordingly, the offences are compounded in terms of their compromise at the instance of the de facto complainant since present with the petitioner/accused.

Accordingly, Crl.P.M.P.No.6607 of 2015 is allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and all the proceedings relating to P.R.C. No.55 of 2007 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Gudur, SPSR Nellore District are quashed against the petitioner. The bail bonds of the petitioner/accused, if any, shall stand cancelled. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. _______________________________ Dr. B.
