HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.22462 of 2003 ORDER:
When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in the instant writ petition, the petitioner is challenging the award dated 23.08.2003 passed by the Labour Court in I.D.No.9 of 2001, wherein no relief was granted in favour of the petitioner. Now, the petitioner has crossed the age of superannuation. In view of the petitioner crossing the age of superannuation, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
By placing the above submission on record, the writ petition is closed. It is needless to say that if the petitioner is entitled for any service benefits, it is always open for the petitioner to claim service benefits in accordance with law. No order as to costs.
