HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.44636 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent-police to complete investigation in Crime No.53 of 2016 and file a charge sheet. 2.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is stated that on 4.3.2016, during night time, the unofficial respondent destroyed the tank bund and the tank and the petitioners lodged a complaint and the same was registered as Crime No.53 of 2016. But no action has been taken so far.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court is inclined to pass the following order: "The 3rd respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report, in either way, in Crime No.53 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible."
