Order:

This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:

"to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of

mandamus declaring the inaction of the 2nd respondent, in not granting affiliation to PB B.Sc(N) Course despite approval from the 1st and the 3rd respondents, as arbitrary, illegal and unjust and for a consequential direction to the respondents to grant affiliation to the petitionerinstitution to commence the said course from the academic year 2009-2010 in the interest of justice and equity or else the petitioner will suffer irreparable loss and injury."

At the hearing, Mr.K.Satyanarayana Murthy, learned Counsel representing Mr.Samineni Kishore, learned Counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.A.Prabhakar Rao, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2- Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences, submitted that in pursuance of the interim order granted by this Court, affiliation to the nursing college being run by the petitioner was granted from the academic year 2009-2010 and that therefore, the cause in this Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.

In view of the above submission of the learned Counsel for both the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous.

As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition,
