Petitioner contends that his vehicle Mahindra Bolero bearing registration No.AP 21 TX 1695 was seized by the 3rd respondent in connection with Crime No.85 of 2016 on the file of the 3rd respondent and that he had filed an application on 12.09.2016 before the 2nd respondent for interim custody of the said vehicle, but the 2nd respondent is not passing any orders thereon, though ten days have elapsed since then. 2.
The Government Pleader for Excise appearing for 2nd respondent states that the 2nd respondent will consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's application within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner. 3.
In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's application within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand disposed of.
