THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION NO.13337 of 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners-A2 to A5 seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.276 of 2014 on the file of Miyapur Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 307 IPC and 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on instructions submits that the investigation agency had completed the investigation and filed charge-sheet before the Court concerned and the same was numbered as PRC No.50 of 2015. In that view of the matter, the cause in this Criminal Petition does not survive for adjudication. 3.

Therefore, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioners-A2 to A5 are given liberty to work out appropriate remedies before appropriate forum, in accordance with law, if they choose to do so. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
