These Criminal Petitions are filed by the petitioner/ accused No.1 and petitioners/ accused Nos.2 to 6 under Section 482 Cr.P.C, seeking to quash proceedings in DVC No.3 of 2014 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Rayachoty, Kadapa District, for the offences punishable under Sections 1 (a), 2(a), (c), (e), (f), (g), 3 (1) 6 of Domestic Violence Act against the petitioners.

2) Heard learned counsel for the petitioners/ accused Nos.1 to 6 as well as 1st respondent-State represented by learned Public prosecutor before admission and before ordering notice to 2nd respondent. Perused the material on record.

3) As there is efficacious remedy to maintain the appeal, these proceedings would not survive and remedy is left open to petitioners to file an appeal if they are aggrieved, with an application under Section 14 of Limitation Act for

condonation of the period of beyond one month to consider.

Needless to say, in the event of filing an application by the petitioners, who are DVC respondents 1 to 6 pending DVC proceedings, under Rule 37 Cr.R.P to represent one on behalf of all accused and the learned Magistrate after hearing shall permit with necessary conditions.

4) Accordingly, the Criminal Petitions are disposed of.

5 ) Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
