THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN CONTEMPT CASE NO.1994 OF 2013 ORDER:

The order, violation of which is alleged in this Contempt Case, is the order passed in WP.No.9443 of 2013 dated 01.04.2013.

By the said order, the petitioner was permitted to submit an application for issuance of a pattadar pass book, and the respondent was directed to consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law.

In the counter affidavit, it is stated that the petitioner's claim for grant of pattadar pass book was considered; and, as the subject lands were Government lands, his request for grant of pattadar pass book was rejected.

I am satisfied that the order of this Court has not been violated much less wilfully and deliberately. The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed.

Miscellaneous applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
