THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN Writ Petition No.35042 of 2012 ORDER:

The relief sought for in the writ petition is to declare the action of respondents 2 to 4 in not sending call letter to the petitioner to attend the interview, for the post of Professor in the Departments of Business Administration and Human Resource Management of Yogi Vemana University Campus at Kadapa, held on 11.11.2012 as illegal and arbitrary.

By way of an interim order passed in W.P.M.P.No.44523 of 2012 dated 11.12.2012, the respondents were directed to interview the petitioner for the post of Professor in the Department of Human Resources Management.

As an interim order was passed to consider the case of the petitioner, which in itself is the main relief, which can be granted in the writ petition, the cause in the writ petition does not survive and the writ petition has become infructuous.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall be also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
