THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.46134 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to declare the action of the respondents 2 to 4 in not registering the case and not taking any action on the complaint made by the petitioner dated 20-06-2016 against the named accused and his family members as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct respondents 2 to 4 to take action on the complaint made by the petitioner, dated 20-06-2016 against the named accused and his family members. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home and perused the material available on record. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent-police are directed to register the case, if the complaint of the petitioner discloses cognizable offence.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
