ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief: "to issue Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order or direction to direct respondents not to collect any penalty on the ground of non-submission of occupancy certificate in respect of service connections bearing Nos.V3104316,V3104317,V3104318 V304319 by declaring action of respondents as illegal, bad and arbitrary as house of writ petitioner is situated over an area of 92.90 Sq Meters (which is equivalent to 111.11 Sq yards) and pass any such order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

On 12.02.2015, this Court directed the respondents not to collect any penalty on the ground of non-submission of occupancy certificate in respect of service connections bearing Nos.V3104316, V3104317, V3104318 and V3104319.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that in pursuance of the said interim order, no further orders need be passed in this writ petition. If the respondents intend to initiate any further action, they would follow due process of law.

Since the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed pursuant to the interim order granted by this Court on 12.2.2015, the Writ Petition is closed. It is needless to say that if the respondents intend to initiate any further action, they shall follow due process of law. No costs.
