THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No. 1859 of 2016 O R D E R :

This Contempt Case is filed complaining disobedience on the part of the respondents of the order dated 12.08.2016 in Writ Petition No. 27136 of 2016.

As per the counter-affidavit filed on behalf of the 2nd respondent - Special Deputy Collector (Land Acquisition), compensation amount was paid to petitioners 1, 3 and 4. So far as petitioner No.2 is concerned, a sum of Rs.9,15,155/-, as determined under the Award, has been deposited to the credit of LAOP No. 25 of 2018 before the Competent Authority constituted in terms of Section 51 read with Section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation, Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation & Resettlement Act, 2013. As the amount has already been deposited with the Competent Authority, petitioner No.2 shall move an Application setting out the details and seeking appropriate orders from the Competent Authority. As and when such an Application is filed, the Competent Authority shall pass orders as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within eight weeks from the date of filing such Application.

In view of the above, nothing remains to be adjudicated in this Contempt Case and the same is accordingly, closed. ____________________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J 06th November 2019 ksld
