THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 1072 of 2008 ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. The present writ petition is filed with the following prayer: " Issue a Writ or any appropriate writ or writs or direction/ s more particularly in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in allotting only 10% of 1317 PHCs (Primary Health Centers) for unani medical facilities under National Rural Health Missions (NRHM) Project implementation plan for the year 2007-08 in the State of A.P. without framing any guidelines, as being illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14 of Indian Constitution and consequently direct the respondents to frame guidelines for allotment of Primary Health Centers (PHCs) on the basis of average patient out put every year and number of registered practitioners and allot Primary Health Centres (PHCs) accordingly and pleased to pass such other order/ s as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
Since the prayer sought for in the writ petition relates to implementation of National Rural Health Mission Project plan for the year 2007-08, no further cause would survive in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
