HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY C.C.No.1642 of 2013 ORDER: (per VVA,J) This contempt case is filed alleging disobedience of the order of this Court in W.A.No.429 of 2012, dated 01-08-2012, which is extracted herein:- "...... we only give liberty to the appellant/writ petitioner to apply before the concerned Registrar to take steps in the matter for reconsideration/ review/cancellation or otherwise within a period of a week from today and on such application being made the Registrar shall dispose of the same, after giving a chance of hearing to both the parties, within a period of four weeks thereafter."

Learned Government Pleader has today produced a copy of the order passed by the District Registrar of Assurances, Hyderabad, in Proceedings No.5575/Soc/2012, dated 10-10-2014, para '2' thereof reads as follows:- "The matter now is examined in full and I held that the names of both societies are resembling identical and similar. Hence, the benefit should be given to the Society "ANDHRA BANK SCHEDULED CASTES & SCHEDULED TRIBES EMPLOYEES WELFARE ASSOCIATION"

Regd.No.438/1987. In view of this, it is hereby ordered that the society "SCHEDULED CASTE AND SCHEDULED TRIBES EMPLOYEES WELFARE ASSOCIATION OF ANDHRA BANK'

REGD.No.851/2008, shall submit proposal for new name which is not identical, similar and resembling with the society registered with registration No.438/1987. Hence, it is hereby ordered not to operate the society using the name Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tries

Employees Welfare Association of Andhra Bank till proposals for new name which is not identical, similar and resembling is submitted to the registrar of Societies for approval."

The said order is also stated to have been communicated to the General Secretaries of both the Societies, which includes the petitioner. In view of the said order, nothing survives for consideration in the Contempt Case.
