SHYAM PRASAD WRIT APPEAL No. 1208 of 2016 JUDGMENT: (Per VRS,J) The writ appeal arises out of an interim order passed by the learned single Judge to the following effect: " Any promotion to the post of Assistant Professor of Pediatrics done by the respondents, subject to further orders of the writ petition."

In a matter relating to promotion, the one and only interim order that could be passed is what was passed by the learned single Judge. Therefore, no interference is called for. Hence, the Writ Appeal is dismissed.
