The grievance of the petitioner is that the Tahsildar, Maripeda Mandal, Mahabubabad District, is not issuing him a pattadar passbook / title deed in relation to the land admeasuring Ac.0-05 guntas in Sy.No.465/20/1 of Maripeda Village, Mahabubabad District. Perusal of the record reflects that Form 1B was issued as long back as on 16.9.2017 indicating the name of the petitioner as the pattadar in respect of the subject land. Having effected mutation in favour of the petitioner, it is not open to the Tahsildar to withhold issuance of the pattadar passbook / title deed in relation to the petitioner's land holding. It appears that the petitioner issued a legal notice on 22.3.2019 in this regard, but the same has not evoked any response. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Maripeda Mandal, Mahabubabad District, to take appropriate action upon the petitioner's legal notice dated 22.3.2019 expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, be it from whatever source.
