The alleged inaction on the part of the 2nd respondent in passing orders on the request made by the 3rd respondentDistrict Transport Officer, vide Lr.No.52/ A1/ SRD/ 2017, dated 1701-2017 is under challenge in the present writ petition. By way of the said letter, the District Transport Officer, Sangareddy District, while enclosing a copy of the inspection report of the subject vehicle submitted by the Motor Vehicle Inspector, Zaheerabad, requested the Transport Commissioner, Hyderabad to take necessary action in respect of temporary registration vehicle bearing No.TS.15ETR 4450. Since the District Transport Officer- 3rd respondent herein addressed the above said letter to the 2nd respondent as long as back on 17-01-2017, this court does not find any justification on the part of the 2nd respondent in not taking any action.

Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent herein to take further action in accordance with law pursuant to the letter dated 17-01-2017 of the District Transport Officer, Sangareddy District as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed in consequence.
